These terms apply to every app made by C94 (currently Slingshot and Pikondo, plus anything we ship later). Download or use one of our apps and you’re agreeing to them. If that doesn’t work for you, don’t use the app.
1. Who we are
C94 is a small independent app studio. We make apps for iPhone and iPad. That is the whole company.
2. Your license
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our apps for personal use on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and Apple’s App Store terms.
Don’t copy, modify, redistribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any of it. If you’re a researcher and you want to look under the hood for a good reason, email us.
3. Free, paid, and subscriptions
Some apps are free. Some are free with limits and an optional paid upgrade. Some are paid up front. Whichever it is, the App Store listing tells you before you buy.
For apps with subscriptions:
- You’re billed by Apple through your App Store account
- Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel — Apple will email you a receipt each time
- Cancel any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device
- You keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for
Refunds for App Store purchases go through Apple. We can’t issue them ourselves.
4. Acceptable use
Use our apps for what they’re for. Don’t try to break, abuse, or weaponize them, and don’t use them in any way that’s illegal where you are.
5. Your content and your decisions
Apps that touch your stuff (Pikondo with your photos, for example) only act on it because you told them to. You’re responsible for what you choose to delete, save, share, or modify. We strongly recommend keeping a backup of anything you don’t want to lose, regardless of which app you use.
6. Privacy
How we handle data is in our Privacy policy. The short version: we don’t collect your data.
7. Third-party services
Our apps use a few outside services (Apple, Google AdMob, RevenueCat) that have their own terms and policies. They cover their part; we cover ours.
8. As-is, as-available
Our apps are provided as-is and as-available, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make them as well as we can but we can’t promise they’ll work perfectly on every device, every iOS version, or in every situation.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, C94 isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages from your use of (or inability to use) our apps. If we somehow are liable for something, it’s capped at whatever you paid us in the last 12 months — which, for free apps, is zero.
10. Changes
We may update these terms now and then. When we do, the date at the top changes. If a change matters, we’ll flag it in the apps. Continuing to use the apps after a change means you’re ok with it.
11. Ending things
You can stop using our apps any time — uninstall and you’re done. We can also stop offering an app, or end your access if you’re using it abusively.
